The Italian-Swiss jurist Andrea Raschèr is an expert at the intersection of art, culture, and law. He holds a doctorate in law and simultaneously worked as a theater and opera director. In the 2000s, under Ruth Dreifuss, he oversaw the drafting of the Cultural Property Transfer Act. Since 2023, he has been President of the Independent Commission of the Stiftung für Kunst, Kultur und Geschichte for Clarifying Claims Resulting from Nazi Persecution (Independent Commission SKKG). He runs his own consulting firm.
